On November 2, RefillMyBottle Vietnam participated in Bridge Fest 2024, a meaningful event featuring over 40 social organizations and enterprises from across Vietnam, all working together for a sustainable and inclusive society. At this event, Refill My Bottle Vietnam shared powerful messages about reducing plastic waste and encouraged the community to practice daily refill habits to protect the environment.

Bridge Fest 2024: A Festival for Equality and Sustainable Development

Bridge Fest is an annual event organized by Oxfam in Vietnam, with support from the Embassies of the Netherlands, the USA, Switzerland, Canada, and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam. It is a platform for social organizations and businesses to connect, exchange, and share initiatives that contribute to sustainable development and social equality.

This year’s theme, “Bridging the Gap – Taking Action Towards a Humane Economy,” created a vibrant and inspiring space where people could come together to learn about creative solutions for building a peaceful, sustainable, and inclusive society. Environmental protection, reducing plastic waste, and promoting green living were key topics of discussion.

At Bridge Fest 2024, the activities of RefillMyBottle Vietnam were coordinated by Footprint Travel and the Vietnam Responsible Travel Club, two organizations that played a key role in organizing our efforts to promote sustainable living and environmental protection during the event.

Refill My Bottle: A Simple Solution for a Sustainable Future

At Bridge Fest 2024, RefillMyBottle Vietnam participated with engaging activities, providing valuable insights on how to reduce plastic waste, as well as promoting the refill habit as a simple yet effective way to cut down on daily plastic consumption.

One of the highlights at our booth was the free refill stations, where attendees were encouraged to bring their personal water bottles to refill instead of using single-use plastic bottles. This simple action helps reduce plastic waste and protect the environment.

Engaging Activities at Bridge Fest 2024

• Waste Sorting Game: A fun and educational game that taught attendees how to sort waste properly at home, highlighting the importance of reducing waste and protecting the environment.
• Refill Habit Sharing: Our team shared the benefits of using reusable water bottles and refilling them, encouraging a shift away from single-use plastics.
• Free Refill Stations: Participants could refill their water bottles for free, helping reduce the use of disposable plastic.
