RefillMyBottle is a project that initially started in Bali island but is now expanding its network.  During the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) Emerging Destinations Workshops held in Yogyakarta in November 2017, our Wateriors, Lauren Groves and Alex Tsuk had the opportunity to meet with the local businesses leaders along with other environmentally-driven and like-minded community members.

Over coffee at Mediterranea restaurant, they discussed the possible solutions to plastic waste problems in Indonesia, which led to the development of RefillMyBottle Yogyakarta. RefillMyBottle Yogyakarta has already established five RefillStations and is rapidly growing.

Our RefillStations are now available at over 250 locations across Indonesia, including Bali, Gili, Flores, Nusa Penida, Nusa Lembongan, Labuan Bajo, and Yogyakarta.
